Course description:


Part a (Borm): Cooperative games
- Games in characteristic form (TU games)
- Shapley value, -value and nucleolus
- Core concepts
- Special cases related to:
* linear production situations
* flows in networks
* voting situations
* exchange economics
- Bargaiging games and NTU-games
- Application in telecommunication


Part b (Vrieze): Noncooperative games
- Games in extended form; games in strategic form
- Matrix games: value, optimal strategies, relation with linear programming
- Bi-matrix games: Nash-equilibria and refinements
- Stochastic games: optimality criteria, value and algorithms
- Applications

Examination:
Take home problems.
